Upper Gwynedd Democrats

Building For The Next Decade

Please help us with the Democratic Voice in Upper Gwynedd.

Upper Gwynedd Imagined

As an Upper Gwynedd  resident, you’ve wanted to join the conversation and help make it a better community.

As we talk with our neighbors we have learned of the concerns of:

  • working families about their children
  • elderly on a fixed income
  • young professionals looking to be involved with their community.

So we invite you to share your thoughts and ideas with us. You may:-

We, the Democratic Committee for the Township, believe there is much we can do to make our community even more livable.

We also believe there is a need for the Township to work collaboratively with other municipalities to provide joint services that reduce our tax burden.

My name is Denise Hull and I’m a 49 year old mother of James, 14 and Kate, 12. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I attended Ohio University for undergrad and then moved to Chicago upon graduation. My background is in acting/theatre and education, with a diverse career as an actor, teacher, tutor, non-profit director, server, and administrative assistant.

Twelve years ago, we moved to Upper Gwynedd, PA for my husband, Dave’s position at Merck and we couldn’t be happier with that choice. Since moving here, I have primarily been a stay at home mom, however in the last nine years I’ve been very involved as a volunteer with my children’s Home and School Organization.

I am excited for the opportunity to begin my third year as an Upper Gwynedd Commissioner and continue working to ensure that Upper Gwynedd is a township that is accessible to all of us. I look forward to improving and preserving our beautiful community in which we are so lucky to live, as Liz McNaney, Martha Simelaro, Katherine Carter, Ruth Damsker and I work to meet the needs of all our residents.
