There will be no Democratic Committee Meeting held in July but note:

When we return on August 12th. we will be live at North Wales Library and we will begin with a social half hour at 6:30. The business part of the meeting will begin at 7.

As an Upper Gwynedd  resident, you’ve wanted to join the conversation and help make it a better community.

 

As we talk with our neighbors we have learned of the concerns of:

  • working families about their children
  • elderly on a fixed income
  • young professionals looking to be involved with their community.

 

So we invite you to share your thoughts and ideas with us. You may:-


We, the Democratic Committee for the Township, believe there is much we can do to make our community even more livable. 

 

We also believe there is a need for the Township to work collaboratively with other municipalities to provide joint services that reduce our tax burden.

UGForUS Needs you

Liz has lived in Upper Gwynedd for 28 years where she and her husband have raised their three boys who all went through the North Penn school system. One is a recent graduate of The University of Miami and two are currently enrolled in nearby colleges. Liz has lived her whole life in Montgomery County except for a few years where she lived in Tampa Florida while studying at The University of South Florida. Liz earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a holds a Masters Degree in Education. She taught for many years in a nearby public school district before leaving to raise her boys.

Liz has been a Township Commissioner for the past 3 years and enjoys serving her community in this role. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Nor-Gwyn Baseball and is active in the local Montgomery County Association of Township Commissioners( MCATC) where she serves as Secretary and the statewide association (PSATC)where Liz enjoys sharing ideas with other Commissioners and learning practical strategies to implement and improve the UG community. Liz and her family also help raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes with JDRF and other volunteer organizations.

Liz feels honored to serve her community and looks forward to implementing new ideas and programs in further enhance Upper Gwynedd Township.
